The all new Scorpio Adventure (limited edition) model is launched in India today by Mahindra and Mahindra having a price tag of Rs 13.07 lakh, which is also the starting ex-showroom price in Mumbai. On the basis of the top S10 variant from the new-generation Mahindra Scorpio, the new SUV comes packed with numerous new features and style decalcomania matching its dashing adventure theme. However, you need to hurry people, as this new beast will be a limited edition with only 1000 units, as announced by Mahindra.
The new Scorpio Adventure will comprise all the features in its top model, as it is based on the S10 variant (standard). Furthermore, the company also revealed the new features and equipment most of which will be seen for the first time in the Scorpio range. The new features such as ORVMs along with side indicators, Gun Metal alloy wheels, the White dual-tone and Mist Silver exteriors along with graphics of adventure theme, and stylish and distinctive smoked tail lamps will be seen in the new beast. As far as design and proportions are considered, the SUV is pretty much similar to the standard version.
The new Scorpio Adventure’s cabin has also undergone some changes. The new limited edition model encompasses faux leather seats along with blue fabric insert. It further has steering wheel wrapped in faux leather and gear lever & rear view camera as well as an Adventure badge on the dashboard. Remaining features resemble the standard S10 variant. Besides all these new features, this new beast comes in both versions—4-wheel drive and 2-wheel drive options—and will also be offered with a manual transmission only.
The 2.2-litre mHawk powers the new Scorpio Adventure is powered; this means the limited edition won’t be available in Delhi for sale. The engine offers a 120bhp power output and 280Nm peak torque. The transmission options will comprise the 5-speed manual gearbox in both the models—2WD and 4WD.
