Garmin, the popular company known for the manufacturing of excellent watches, has soon decided to expand its business in the India with the launch of Fenix smartwatches. Let us have a look at the specs of the smartwatch.

The smartwatch has a lens material of sapphire crystal as well as bezel material and stainless steel. The case material is made up of fiber-reinforced polymer. The smartwatch has QuickFit™ watch bands as well. The strap material is made up of silicone as well as steel. The physical size of the smartwatch is 51 mm x 51 mm x 17.5 mm. The silicone band weighs 98 g while the metal band weighs 196 g. The smartwatch has a water rating of 10 ATM. It also has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The device has a transflective memory-in-pixel and sunlight-visible display type which is 1.2” (30.4 mm) diameter in size. The screen has a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. The smartwatch gives 12 days of battery backup on a single charge when on smart mode and gives 20 hours of battery backup when on GPS/HR mode. The smartwatch lasts for 35 hours when on UltraTrac™ mode without wrist heart rate. It also has an internal memory of 16 GB.

Speaking of the sensors, the Fenix smartwatch has GLONASS, GPS, barometric altimeter, Garmin Elevate™ wrist heart rate monitor, gyroscope, compass, thermometer, and accelerometer. As far as the activity tracking feature is present, users can utilize functions such as move bar, step counter, sleep monitoring, auto goal, floors climbed, calories burned, intensity minutes, distance traveled, Move IQ™, and TrueUp™.

Listing the training, planning, and the analysis feature, the watch offers customizable activity profiles, activity history on watch, audio prompts, customizable alerts, course guidance, auto multisport activities, auto lap, advanced workouts, auto scroll, auto pause, manual multisport activities, customizable data pages, finish time, virtual partner, hot keys, group LiveTrack, LiveTrack, configurable lap alerts, manual lap, touch and/or button lock, segments (Live, Garmin), personal records (running, cycling, swimming), and GPS speed and distance.
