On Tuesday March 30, eleven students traveled to Washington DC to represent Costa Rica in the 2010 Model Organization of American States from March 30 to April 3. The OAS (Organziation of American States) is a governmental organization similar to the United Nations. It includes thirty-five countries from North America, the Caribbean, and South America and works to promote human rights, development, and democracy and to protect the environment.
Notre Dame enjoys a new tradition
The 2009 Gator weekend began when students, staff, and recruits gathered in the gym on Friday October 23 at 10:00 PM for Notre Dame's first ever Midnight Madness. The festivities included the singing of the National Anthem by Kristin Catchings, the introduction of the basketball and swim teams, and performances by the dance team and the Spirit Squad.
